Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students' communication, language, and mobility needs within a collaborative educational setting. We are seeking passionate professionals for three full-time, onsite contract positions working with elementary, middle (6th-8th), or high school caseloads. With a start date as soon as possible and assignments extending through June 10, 2027, these positions offer stability and a chance to make a real difference for local students. This opportunity is ideal for qualified Speech-Language Pathologists and Physical Therapists with a background in school-based services and a commitment to working in an urban school environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid certifications/licensure as SLP or PT for Pennsylvania schools Experience in a school setting is required Familiarity with diverse, urban student populations Ability to complete all Pennsylvania clearances prior to starting Reliable transportation is essential for daily commute Comfortable with district and local environment Availability for 35 hours per week between 7:15AM and 4:00PM (no accommodation for alternate schedules) Able to work exclusively onsite (no virtual option)
Responsibilities:
Manage a dedicated caseload—choose between elementary, middle, or high school students Implement individualized interventions, develop IEPs, and participate in multi-disciplinary teams Provide direct therapy/services aligned with IEP goals and district standards Engage effectively with students, families, and school staff Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district and state requirements
