This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for passionate professionals eager to foster communication skills and promote student success across grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid SLP license for Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
ASHA CCC-SLP
certification strongly preferred Prior experience working in a K-12 educational setting (preferred) Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Strong collaborative skills and a flexible, student-centered mindset
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students, both individually and in group settings Conduct thorough assessments and develop customized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and progress Document progress and maintain accurate records in alignment with school and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings, provide consultative support, and contribute to the interdisciplinary team Support school-wide initiatives to foster inclusive communication practices Enjoy the advantages of working in a welcoming campus setting with a diverse student population.
