Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education by supporting preschool students with special education needs in the New Oxford/Gettysburg areas. This contract position focuses on delivering speech and language services to children ages 3 to 5, offering an engaging itinerant schedule across multiple locations within Adams County. Key Qualifications:
Current PA SLP license required and must be presented with your application Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; exceptional Clinical Fellows considered if supervision arrangement is funded Experience or interest in school-based or early childhood SLP services Comfort working with students with diverse special education needs Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Ability to travel locally within the assigned areas
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough records and documentation; dedicated time each week for paperwork is built into your schedule Conduct evaluations and monitor progress to maximize student outcomes Communicate regularly with families and educational staff to support each student's needs Utilize provided tools, materials, and technology including a laptop, iPad, subscription to lesson planning resources, and testing kits
