Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful, full-time contract opportunity supporting students and school communities with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment runs from August 19th through the end of October, providing essential coverage for a maternity leave. If you are passionate about pediatric care, school-based therapy, and collaborating with diverse teams—including Clinical Fellows—this position may be a great fit for your skills and career goals. What you'll bring: Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience delivering speech-language services in school or pediatric settings Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to conduct virtual sessions as needed Knowledge of IEP documentation, progress tracking, and parent/staff communication Strong teamwork, organization, and communication abilities Key responsibilities: Provide assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy to K-12 students Support students' academic and social development by addressing communication disorders Conduct both on-site and remote services, as needed, using current teletherapy technologies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows participating in the assignment Maintain thorough records in compliance with all school and professional standards The assignment offers full-time hours with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, allowing you to plan ahead and balance personal commitments with professional growth.
