Job Description
SLP, licensed in the state of Florida. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals with speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing disorders. The SLP develops and implements individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication skills, language development, articulation, speech production, oral-motor functioning, social communication, and the use of augmentative and alternative communication systems or assistive technology devices when appropriate. The SLP is responsible for conducting assessments, establishing therapy goals, providing direct intervention, documenting client progress, collaborating with caregivers and other professionals, and supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as applicable, in accordance with Florida state regulations and professional standards.
