Job Description

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric clients in a clinical therapy center setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with communication, speech, language, social-pragmatic, and/or feeding-related needs, as appropriate within the provider's scope of practice. Provide direct speech therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, communication, articulation, fluency, language, and social communication needs. Collaborate with families, caregivers, therapists, and other professionals to support continuity of care and promote generalization of skills across settings. Document client progress, maintain accurate treatment notes, and update goals based on ongoing data and clinical observations. Educate parents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication, language development, and functional skill acquisition at home and in the community. Participate in treatment planning, progress reviews, and interdisciplinary collaboration as needed.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of speech, language, communication development, and related therapeutic interventions. Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment recommendations. Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, articulation disorders, language disorders, and social communication deficits. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, caregivers, and other professionals. Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on each child's needs, developmental level, and treatment goals. Strong problem-solving skills to address communication challenges and support meaningful progress. Ability to maintain professional documentation and comply with clinical, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
