Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based Speech-Language Pathology role serving a highly diverse student population. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a real impact alongside dedicated educators from now through June 17, 2027. With a weekly schedule of 35 hours, youll play a vital role in helping students develop essential communication skills.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current or eligibility for
RIDE PK-12 SLP
Certification (required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working with school-aged populations, PK12 Bilingual skills are a strong asset, given the multilingual community Strong knowledge of AAC and assistive technology Adaptable to fluctuating caseload sizes and diverse academic settings
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication needs Conduct comprehensive speech/language and AAC/assistive tech assessments Organize and maintain detailed progress and compliance documentation Set up and manage AAC/assistive technology devices as required Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families Provide expert input on learning strategies to support student outcomes Serve student caseloads ranging from early childhood/preschool to standard PK12, including options for bilingual students The school environment is energetic and resourceful, with specialized tracks offered for early childhood, mixed PK12, and bilingual caseloads.
