credential required Experience in a school-based SLP setting, including direct and consultative therapy Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work flexibly with fluid caseloads, adapting to varying school needs Commitment to equity and inclusion when working with students from multi-lingual and multicultural backgrounds Comfort with AAC and assistive technology, or willingness to learn
What You'll Do:
Provide direct speech-language services to students (approx. 60 per caseload, may vary) Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and family members Advise on learning strategies and facilitate parent engagement Set up and manage AAC devices and other assistive technology Participate in team meetings and IEP processes
