9517381-02860 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students aged 522 with a range of communication needs near Pawtucket, RI. This full-time assignment begins May 18, 2026 and continues through May 20, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Caseloads are primarily comprised of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with 1822 students varying by service frequency. Safety care training is required and conveniently provided on-site. Theres also the possibility to extend your impact through ESY work into the following academic year.

Qualifications:

Active Rhode Island Speech License required Accepting SLPs holding CCC or CFY, as well as school-experienced SLPAs Background working in school-based speech-language roles preferred Experience supporting students with ASD highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to complete mandatory on-site safety care training

Responsibilities:

Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and direct/indirect therapy services for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals Document student progress, maintain required records, and prepare reports Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed Provide support and intervention strategies to address diverse student needs across various ages This contract role features a weekly pay structure with competitive compensation between $52 and $58 per hour.
