Join Our Team Carlyle Senior Care of Florence is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while promoting the highest level of independence, safety, and quality of life. Part-Time/PRN needed Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals. Provide therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans. Assess and manage dysphagia and recommend appropriate dietary modifications. Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely. Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings and collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, medical, and social services staff. Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and therapy techniques. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain productivity expectations and therapy documentation standards. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Qualifications Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric setting preferred. Strong knowledge of swallowing disorders, cognitive rehabilitation, and communication therapies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
