A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, working with K-12 students. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible state SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed, Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply Prior experience in school-based settings or strong interest in working with children and adolescents Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure integrated approaches to student success Complete required documentation, progress reports, and participation in IEP meetings Offer consultation and support within the educational team to foster a positive learning environment
