As a travel SLP-CF within the district, you will likely provide services across multiple school locations, giving you a diverse professional experience with a variety of age groups and student needs. Typical responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, participating in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with teachers and families, and maintaining timely and accurate documentation. You will provide both individual and group therapy services, support classroom-based interventions when appropriate, and contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) or Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks as needed. Caseloads are school-based and tailored to support student communication, academic participation, and social engagement. A typical day may involve on-site or inter-school travel within the district, scheduled therapy sessions, consultation with teachers regarding classroom strategies, completion of evaluation reports, and progress notes. Required Qualifications Speech/Language Pathologist, School SLP LIC Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
