May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Pediatric experience, especially in school-based settings, is highly valued Familiarity with IEP processes and communication with families, educators, and administrators Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:
