Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Make Communication and Connection Possible At Williston Healthcare & Rehabilitation and Carlyle Senior Care of Blackville , Speech Therapy is about more than speech. We are seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. The Impact You'll Make As an SLP, you will help residents: Improve speech, language, cognition, and functional communication Address memory, attention, sequencing, and safety awareness Evaluate and treat swallowing difficulties and dysphagia Develop strategies that support safer eating and drinking Communicate wants, needs, and concerns more effectively Stay connected with family, caregivers, and the world around them You will complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled interventions, educate residents and caregivers, and collaborate with nursing, dietary, PT, OT, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team. What We're Looking For Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in South Carolina Current CPR certification Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate, resident-centered approach Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, dysphagia, cognitive-communication, or geriatrics is preferred.
