Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a county-wide, itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist for a supportive school system near Knoxville, TN. As a contracted SLP, you'll work with diverse populations across various campuses, helping students reach their communication and academic goals. This full-time assignment runs from as soon as you're available through the end of the school year. Ideal candidates are passionate about supporting school-aged children and thrive in dynamic environments. You'll expertly assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with communication disorders, collaborating closely with educators and families.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Valid or eligible SLP licensure for Tennessee Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Comfortable traveling between schools in the county as an itinerant provider Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in organizing caseloads and maintaining accurate documentation
