About the Position We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation services for students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and academic success. Job Duties Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct speech and language therapy services Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Provide evidence-based intervention targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies Recommend accommodations and strategies to support classroom participation Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Requirements Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, or eligibility to obtain licensure Appropriate Texas Education Agency credential or authorization for school-based practice, as applicable Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered Completion of required supervised clinical experience Knowledge of IDEA and school-based service delivery Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements Benefits Competitive rates Weekly pay 401(k) with employer match Tiered benefit plans Employee Assistance Program CEU and license reimbursement Ongoing professional support and advocacy Dedicated support throughout your assignment Travel Opportunities Blazer Jobs offers travel opportunities for Speech-Language Pathologists who are interested in expanding their professional experience while making a meaningful impact in new communities.
