Job Description

Make a meaningful impact every day by supporting students communication needs in a welcoming school environment. Two onsite Speech Language Pathologists are needed to join a dedicated school district just outside of Denton, TX, for a contract position from ASAP through May 26, 2027. This role offers the chance to provide expertise across K-12 campuses, with specific caseloads to be determined, fostering growth and inclusion for a diverse student body.
Essential Qualifications:
Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC required) Prior experience in a school-based SLP role highly desirable Understanding of individualized education plans (IEP) and progress monitoring Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Capable of supervising SLPAs onsite, cultivating a collaborative, encouraging work environment Dedication to serving and advocating for students from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for assigned K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with district and legal guidelines Support, mentor, and supervise onsite SLPAs as needed Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to holistic student care
