Key Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, valid SLP licensure in the state of Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Prior experience working with school-aged children is desirable Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and IEP processes Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Must be detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to meet varied student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in groups Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate supports Complete required documentation and progress reports accurately and on time Provide guidance and training to staff regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies As part of this flexible contract role, you will be able to make a meaningful difference in students lives while furthering your professional growth.
