Key Qualifications:

Active SLP license or eligibility to practice in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Prior experience with pediatric populations or in school settings is highly valued Ability to create individualized treatment plans and document student progress Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals focused on communication skills Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Maintain accurate documentation of services, data collection, and progress monitoring Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure a supportive learning atmosphere Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed This contract role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a well-structured school system, working alongside dedicated professionals.
