Job Description

Help support student success by providing essential speech-language services for a local school community. This contract opportunity is designed for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), who have a passion for making a difference in educational settings. Collaborate within a supportive environment, helping students overcome communication barriers and reach their fullest academic and social potential.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and student evaluation in compliance with IDEA Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both small group and individual settings Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and needs Document evaluations, session notes, and participate in IEP meetings as required Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student Promote positive, inclusive learning environments and encourage student engagement This contract position offers the chance to work closely with educators and families to foster student growth and achievement.
