Desired Skills and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active (or eligibility for) state SLP license Experience or passion for working with pediatric populations, especially early childhood and elementary students Experience supporting a variety of communication needs, including moderate to profound cases Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff Effective communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services, in both individual and group settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams on student progress and strategies Maintain accurate records and progress notes, fulfilling all compliance requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
