Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services as part of a dedicated school-based team near Federal Way, WA. This contract opportunity allows you to support students' communication skills and collaborate closely with teachers and families to foster academic and social success.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington Previous experience working in school settings preferred, but strong clinical skills considered Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities Able to effectively manage and prioritize a caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Provide direct therapy services that address speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support generalization of skills Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services according to district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and school-based initiatives promoting student growth Engage in ongoing professional growth to remain current with best practices in speech-language pathology Embrace the opportunity to support children and contribute positively to their educational journey within a collaborative school environment.
