Job Description

Step into a fulfilling role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave assignment. This full-time contract position offers the flexibility to work virtually or onsite, collaborating with educators and families to make a direct impact. You'll provide comprehensive speech and language services to approximately 50 students, including those in resource programs and the RISE program for moderate disabilities. Ideal candidates possess strong clinical skills, compassion for working with kids of diverse backgrounds and abilities, and a proactive approach to individualized support. This is an opportunity to hone your expertise while partnering closely with a dedicated special education team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Washington State SLP License and Education Staff Associate (ESA) certification required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with school-based caseloads, especially at the elementary level Comfort with both virtual and onsite service delivery models Expertise supporting students with moderate disabilities preferred Strong documentation, progress monitoring, and IEP experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
