Desired Background and Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status State licensure for SLP at the time of hire (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or genuine interest in speech therapy within pediatric and school-based environments Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Collaborative spirit and adaptability in dynamic educational settings
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations to students from diverse backgrounds Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students unique needs Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with state and federal requirements Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing clinical recommendations and progress updates Serve as a resource for staff and families, sharing strategies and tools to support communication skills in the classroom and at home
