Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role working with PreK and Kindergarten students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Renton, WA. What You'll Bring:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (WA state) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK-Kindergarten students with speech, language, or communication needs Provide direct and consultative therapy, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and special education staff to integrate speech and language strategies throughout the school day Document progress and maintain records in compliance with state and district requirements Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student goals and achievements
