A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Role Details:
Full-time contract from August 24 to June 4 37.5 hours per week
Caseload:
approximately 11 speech-only students and 10-20 IEPs with speech as a related service Serve students in grades 4K-8
Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin SLP license and DPI credential required SLP-CCC strongly preferred; open to SLP-CFY with strong skills Experience in schools, especially in diverse urban settings, will truly make your application stand out Proficiency in evaluations, assessments, and Child Find services
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech/language evaluations and assessments for referrals Provide both direct and indirect services based on students' needs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in IEP development
