Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an educational setting! Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology SLPA licensure or eligibility in Alabama Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passion for helping children of varying backgrounds and abilities

Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist with screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions Prepare materials and adapt activities for students Track and document student progress and attendance Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to reinforce communication strategies Participate in professional development and stay informed on best practices
