Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact providing Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support in a dynamic school-based setting for the remainder of the academic year. This contract, itinerant role offers a lively and collaborative work environment, with opportunities to work across multiple school sites. Supervision comes directly from the agency, ensuring steady guidance without extensive onboarding or training. The need is urgent—ideal candidates can start right away and bring strong previous experience supporting school-age students. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLPA license/certification At least one year of experience in K-12 educational settings Ability to start as soon as possible Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments Demonstrated flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills Quick to adapt to established routines and expectations Not suitable for new graduates or those needing extensive onboardingKey Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services under supervision Support students across various school sites as assigned Collaborate with educators, specialists, and other professionals Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress Participate in scheduled team and supervision meetings Adapt to varying caseloads and daily tasks across locationsBenefits & Perks:
