Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification or licensure as an SLPA Experience in school-based settings highly valued Familiarity with healthcare protocols and compliance preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to follow directions and implement plans designed by supervising SLPs Adaptable to changing priorities in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students under the guidance of a licensed SLP Document student progress accurately and maintain up-to-date records Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to support individualized education goals Prepare and organize session materials, utilizing engaging activities to enhance language and communication skills Support students in both group and one-on-one settings across diverse backgrounds Participate in team meetings and contribute insights that foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Working in this role offers a chance to build relationships with dedicated educators while making a tangible difference in student outcomes.
