Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a PreK-12 environment for the upcoming academic year. This contract role will enable qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to collaborate closely with educators and specialists while making a genuine impact onsite at a welcoming school community. Supervision is readily available, offering professional guidance and support as you serve a diverse, energetic student population.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure, in accordance with state regulations Experience or strong interest working with PreK-12 students in a school setting Solid understanding of completing speech-language assessments and delivering services as documented in IEPs Ability to provide both direct and indirect interventions as directed by supervising SLPs Effective communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently Positive attitude and ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language screenings and follow treatment plans under SLP supervision Deliver individualized and small group interventions to students with a variety of speech and language needs Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources for therapy sessions Attend IEP meetings, contribute observations, and help document student progress Maintain accurate records of student sessions and progress notes in accordance with school protocols Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students receiving speech-language services Enjoy the benefits of working onsite where you can build strong relationships with students and staff, access regular supervision, and gain valuable school-based experience in a collaborative setting.
