Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students within a dynamic school setting. As a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), youll play a crucial role in fostering communication growth, working closely with certified professionals and helping students achieve their speech and language goals.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active SLPA license in Connecticut School-based experience is required; previous work in educational settings strongly preferred Availability for a full-time schedule: 35 hours each week Able to work onsite in one dedicated building (elementary level) Willingness to complete district-required fingerprints and background checks Credentialed candidates will be prioritized during screening Upfront licenses are considered a plus and help expedite the hiring process
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist with implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Conduct activities and exercises to develop speech, language, and communication skills Record and track student progress in collaboration with the supervising SLP Participate in meetings and communicate student needs and growth to staff Maintain a collaborative and positive working relationship with faculty and students
Role Details:
Full-time contract, 35 hours per week Onsite at one elementary school building Hours are 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday Start as soon as possible; contracted through June 11, 2027 Only one position is available Ready to make a meaningful difference in students lives while furthering your career?
