Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a real impact in elementary education by supporting young learners as part of a collaborative and welcoming school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to contribute within one vibrant school community. Enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:45AM to 3:45PM, working on-site at a single location. This role starts as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2027, providing continuity and room to build strong professional relationships. Your expertise will help students succeed by delivering essential support services in partnership with certified speech pathologists. You'll find rewarding challenges as you use your skillset to foster communication growth in a supportive school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA license from the state of Connecticut School-based experience required Candidates with all required credentials will be given priority Willingness to complete district fingerprinting and background checks Availability for a Zoom interview Having all credentials and licenses in place before starting is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language support services to students under the direction of a supervising SLP Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to maximize student outcomes Document services and regularly communicate progress Maintain compliance with school and state regulations Perks of the
