Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the current school year and beyond. Working on-site in the vibrant North Fort Myers area, youll have the opportunity to make a positive difference while collaborating with dedicated professionals. Multiple full-time and part-time options are open, with flexible schedules created by combining assignments across up to three school sites.
What Youll Bring:
Active Florida
DOH SLPA
license Previous experience in a school-based SLPA setting preferred Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 K-12 students Flexibility to travel to and effectively manage assignments across multiple schools Strong communication and organizational skills A commitment to fostering students speech and language development Willingness to complete fingerprinting for credentialing, including any necessary validation or transfer of previous prints and obtaining a JLA badge
Your Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized educational goals Help prepare and implement therapy activities tailored to each students needs Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders Travel between assigned campuses as needed (travel generally limited to local area) A fulfilling contract position awaitschoose from part-time or full-time hours, up to 37.5 hours per week, through the end of the school year.
