Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Haltom City, TX BlazerJobs - 3.4 Haltom City, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract 5 hours ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting a vibrant school community near Haltom City, TX. In this full-time contract role, you'll collaborate closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services that help children build communication skills and thrive academically and socially.

What You'll Do:

Deliver individual and group therapy to students in alignment with plans set by the supervising SLP Collect and document therapy data and student progress to support learning outcomes Assist in conducting screenings for speech, language, and hearing needs Prepare therapy materials and contribute to classroom interventions Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow school professionals to help students achieve communicative success Support IEP implementation and follow-up activities as guided by the SLP Uphold school district protocols and professional practices

What We're Looking For:

Current Texas SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field (licensing requirements satisfied) Successful completion of required clinical observation and assisting experience as per Texas regulations Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory If you're committed to fostering communication skills and building student confidence, this position provides an engaging, supportive environment for your expertise.
