Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Full-Time | Schertz, TX | 2026-2027 School Year We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, full school year position in Schertz, TX for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to support students in a collaborative school-based environment while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Position Details:
Full-time, full school year (2026-2027) School-based setting Support students with speech and language needs across various caseloads Work under the direction of a supervising SLP Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities Collect and document student progress data
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy support to students in individual and/or group settings Assist in implementing IEP goals and speech-language treatment plans Utilize reinforcement strategies, modeling, and visual supports Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and sessions Collaborate with educators, SLPs, and special education teams Support communication development across diverse student populations
Qualifications:
Active Texas SLPA license required School-based experience preferred but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to follow treatment plans and work within a team setting
