This opportunity focuses on supporting school teams in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas for the 2026-2027 school year. We are searching for dedicated professionals ready to make a positive impact, working collaboratively with speech and language pathologists and educators to encourage student growth. In this school-based role, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise in a supportive environment—without the need for an SLPA license in Virginia, as long as you possess the required educational background.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Communications, Speech-Language, or Communication Disorders (required) Previous experience as an SLPA in a school or pediatric setting is a plus Eagerness to work with elementary, middle, and/or high school students Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassion, patience, and strong organizational skills

Role Overview:

Support students' speech and language development based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities designed by supervising SLPs Record student progress and maintain thorough documentation Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with educational teams Communicate regularly with teachers and families about student needs and progress
