Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Prince William County area as a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Work in vibrant school communities located in Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge while shaping young lives through effective communication support. This full-time role begins August 24th, 2026, and runs through June 11th, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours (7 hours per day). Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field School-based experience as an SLPA is highly valued No SLPA state licensure is required in Virginia for this position Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators and other professionals Strong communication skills and empathy with school-aged childrenResponsibilities:
Support the delivery of speech-language therapy services under the supervision of licensed SLPs Implement activities to foster communication skills among students Document student progress and help prepare materials for sessions Participate in IEP meetings as needed, sharing student observations Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growthPerks:
