Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field School-based experience as an SLPA is highly valued No SLPA state licensure is required in Virginia for this position Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators and other professionals Strong communication skills and empathy with school-aged children

Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of speech-language therapy services under the supervision of licensed SLPs Implement activities to foster communication skills among students Document student progress and help prepare materials for sessions Participate in IEP meetings as needed, sharing student observations Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth
