Job:
Responsible for the decontamination, preparation and sterilization of supplies, instruments, and equipment.
What You'll Do:
Follows duty roster to fulfill workstation assignment. Decontaminates, prepares, and sterilizes equipment and supplies per Elliot Hospital and infection control rules. Runs steam, sterrad sterilizer, washer decontaminators, cart washer, ultrasonics, and dryer. Reports broken equipment and supplies to shift leader and manager immediately for follow-up. Labels and assembles healthcare instrument trays. Maintains steam, sterrad, and biological monitoring records. Answers phone calls. Creates linen packs, inspects, delints, and folds as needed.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferred.
