Tech, Sterile Processing -
Tech, Union, New Jersey Duties:
Familiarity with the correct materials for packaging, wrapping and sterilization methods of all instrument sets and trays. Complete knowledge of a case cart preparation system Basic computer knowledge with an Instrument Tracking system (ABACUS/MICROSYSTEMS) preferred. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Heavy lifting and pushing (trays & sterilization carts). Responsible for decontamination, prepping and packaging sterilization processes of all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment Must be able to read, write and understand the English language

Basic Computer skills, reading and writing General Knowledge of function and maintenance of Surgical Instruments and Patient Care Equipment Competent to operates sterilizers Works well with others Works well in a fast paced environment

Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CBSPD Education:
