Performs OB/GYN ultrasound procedures as prescribed by the physician including: Positioning patient for proper view of the intended area Selects appropriate scan images to be recorded Obtains essential information from patient, medical records and previous scans for clinical correlation Instructs patients on proper physiologic requirements for procedure Assists patient with transfer and immobilization to perform scan Able to change scanning parameters to improve scan quality Submits results to provider for interpretation Ensures all patients, scan and reports are tracked and any required data is entered appropriately into the electronic health record in a timely manner. Maintains good working relationship with providers, co-workers and patients. Assists Clinical Service Manager and other team members as needed. Maintains strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA requirements. Attends all required meetings. Performs other delegated work duties as assigned.

Education:

High School diploma Graduate of an accredited

Ultrasound Program Experience:

One (1) year of clinical experience, or on the job training with a skilled Ultrasonographer. Experience with an Electronic Health Record Experience with performing

Nuchal Translucency Certification/Licensure:

RDMS registered or registry eligible CPR/BLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
