Job Description

Overview MTF Biologics processes tissue grafts from human donors that are used in a growing array of clinical applications - positively affecting lives across the globe. Our goal is simple-do what's right for patients, surgeons, tissue donors, and their families through our guiding principles. Responsible for the sterilization of the clean rooms, lab and storage areas as well as all equipment used in, and related to, these areas. Order and maintain inventory of all raw material for the Processing Department. Coordinates cleaning of entire clean room area after shut down.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-3:30
PM Pay Range:
$18.50-$20/hr. Responsibilities Maintains all clean room areas as required. Cleans and sterilizes all processing tools, supplies and equipment. Assembles all sterile supplies from MTF. Orders and tracks all processing supplies and equipment. Works with the Purchasing Department and vendors to identify supply and service issues and potential cost savings. Maintains the order of the warehouse and sterile supplies. Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned. Incorporates a comprehensive medical waste management plan. Coordinates service issues for Sterrad. Orders and maintains all sterile and non-sterile garments and services. Provides on the job training for sterile technicians. Coordinates irradiation services for all process packaging material with irradiation provider. Verify work orders to be sterilized. Make up monthly supply tracking report for all supplies consumed. Assist with supplies, equipment, etc. to be passed into cleanrooms. Perform weekly physical inventory of all cleanroom supplies and products. Prepare monthly cleanroom supply utilization for cost accounting. Maintains daily log of all cleanroom supplies. Audits consumable inventory on a monthly basis to monitor shelf life and ensure inventory compliance. Makes recommendations to increase efficiencies and effectiveness in responsible area. Implements inventory turnover and abc analysis for cleanroom inventory management. Work with cleaning contractors and maintain cleaning documentation. Responsible for the receipt of processing supplies from vendors. Prepare cleaning chemicals/agent on a daily basis. Qualifications Required Education - High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required Experience -2 Years Minimum two years experience in one of the following areas: Tissue Banking, central sterile supply, or surgical technician. Production experience in a sterile environment in the pharmaceutical or medical fields Position requiring use of hand tools or procedures involving hand-eye coordination Required License, Certification & Registration - Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of GMPs, GTPs, QSRs and SOPs. Must be able to maintain a working knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures.
