JOB DESCRIPTION
In collaboration with a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, assists and is accountable for the preparation, processing and storage of sterile instrumentation, and equipment utilized in clinical services. Secondarily, may be called on to fulfill distribution duties as requested.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE
Prior proven experience and expertise in decontamination, processing and sterilization techniques and best practices preferred. One year of experience in the field of Central Services and/or sterile processing preferred.
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS CRCST
certification required within one year of hire.
