Sterile Processing Technician Orthopedic Surgery Center of Green Bay Green Bay, WI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Employee assistance program Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Sterile inventory control record management Surgical instrument assembly Surgical instrument organization Ambulatory surgery center experience Medical instrument assembly and packaging (sterile processing) Mid-level Operating room inventory management Packaging Medical equipment cleaning Orthopedics Decontamination Medical receptionist Full Job Description The Sterile Processing Technicians are responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, packaging, tracking, storing, and distributing reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Center protocols. The Sterile Processing Technician will also provide reception duties as needed. This position will also back up or receptionists to help cover vacations. This position is a 0.8 - 1.0 FTE (32-40 hours per week) Start times vary daily based on surgery schedule Experience in Sterile processing, or Surgical Tech highly recommended
Education and Experience:
Must be BLS Certified within six (6) months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. Prior experience in sterile processing or surgical technology is strongly preferred. Prior experience in orthopedics or in an ASC is strongly preferred.
