Our focus is on delivering high-quality aesthetic treatments in a professional and patient-centered environment. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist 1st Assist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive perioperative experience, including assisting in complex surgeries within a fast-paced hospital setting. This role involves providing advanced surgical assistance, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgeons throughout operative procedures to achieve optimal outcomes. Duties Assist surgeons during open surgical techniques and other operative procedures by providing precise instrument handling and tissue management. Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, functional, and ready for use. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to uphold facility patient safety standards. Experience Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist 1st Assist or similar perioperative role. Extensive knowledge of surgical techniques including suturing, open surgical assistance, and minimally invasive procedures. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as trauma centers or emergency medicine units. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and hospital infection prevention protocols. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to perioperative or critical care are advantageous.
Pay:
$36.00 - $41.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per weekBenefits:
