IVF Coordinator

REPORTS TO

MEDICAL

DIRECTOR, NURSING MANAGER GENERAL SUMMARY

Under supervision provides individualized plan of patient care in accordance with their scope of practice and CA license

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in front office and patient reception
• Assist in clerical filing, copying, etc.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Take vital signs.
• Take patient history and document in the patient record
• Assist during procedures and exams
• Give follow-up appointments to patients.
• Assist in the transportation of the patient to the operating room.
• Assist in the positioning of the patient on the operating room table.
• Assist wherever directed by the circulating nurses and/or the physicians in the operating room as the surgical procedure is being started.
• Prepare specimens for pick-up.
• Transport equipment and supplies to and from areas as needed.
• Clean and store instruments, equipment, etc as needed.
• Assist where indicated in the clean-up of the operating room after the surgical procedure.
• Perform related work as directed.
• Assist in the ongoing Quality Management & Professional Improvement Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Medical assistant or Nursing Assistant Certificate of completion or equivalent
• Previous work experience in IVF/fertility preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

The position is

MON-FRI 8

30 to 5 pm in Fountain Valley with occasional coverage of our Downtown LA office and occasional Saturday and on-call assignments. We offer health, vision, and dental insurance to full-time employees.
