Location:
4S Ranch with opportunities at our Mission Valley office We are looking for a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practice. This position begins at approximately 3-5 days per month , typically Fridays, with the opportunity to grow into additional days and responsibilities as our oral surgery services continue to expand. If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with room for professional growth, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery treatments. Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments. Monitor and support patient comfort before, during, and after procedures. Provide post-operative instructions and patient education. Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans as needed. Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols. Document treatment accurately and assist with clinical charting. Ensure efficient patient flow and support the surgical team. Qualifications Previous oral surgery or surgical dental assisting experience preferred. Current California Dental Assistant credentials and X-ray certification (as required). Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced specialty environment. Willingness to work at our 4S Ranch office, with opportunities to assist at our Mission Valley location as the practice grows. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience. Pay:
$25.00 - $33.00 per hour
