Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join our surgical team. This role is essential in supporting surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring seamless case flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by gathering and checking supplies, instruments, and equipment. Set up sterile fields and ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and aseptic technique at all times. Assist surgeons and nurses intraoperatively by anticipating needs and ensuring smooth case flow. Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment with accuracy and accountability. Support room turnover between cases and prepare procedure rooms for the following day. Perform clerical tasks such as daily logs and checklists in compliance with AAAASF and regulatory standards. Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment per infection control protocols. Consistently adhere to policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and successful outcomes. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Practice Manager, Medical Director, or leadership team. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. Minimum 1 year of operating room experience (cosmetic/plastic surgery experience strongly preferred). Active Surgical Technician certification/license as required by the state of employment. Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, sterilization processes, and surgical protocols. Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced surgical setting. Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday schedule, no nights or weekends. Competitive salary based on experience.
