Center for Specialty Surgery (CSS) is looking for a dependable, energetic Surgical Services Support Aide to join our ambulatory surgery team. This is not traditional housekeeping. You will work alongside our nursing and surgical teams to help keep operating rooms, patient care areas, linens, scrubs, and supplies clean, stocked, organized, and ready for the next patient. Your work allows our nurses and surgical staff to stay focused on patient care while you help keep the surgical day moving efficiently behind the scenes. What You'll Do Participate with the surgical team in environmental cleaning of operating rooms between surgical cases after the patient has left the room Clean and disinfect approved OR surfaces, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and floors according to infection prevention procedures Clean and prepare patient bays between patients Remove soiled linens and trash and reset areas for the next patient or surgical case Manage onsite laundry throughout the day, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and restocking scrubs and linens Make beds and prepare clean linen supplies Restock linens, blankets, gloves, masks, environmental supplies, and other designated supplies throughout clinical areas Keep OR support areas, patient care areas, hallways, and other assigned spaces clean and organized Assist with scheduled deep cleaning and quarterly cleaning activities Monitor supplies and communicate when items need to be replenished Help prepare clinical areas at the end of the day so the center is ready for the next day's patients Jump in and support the team with other appropriate non-clinical tasks when needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Energetic and comfortable being a self-starter and staying busy throughout the day Detail oriented and takes pride in doing things correctly Able to recognize what needs attention without waiting to be asked every time Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Able to shift priorities as the surgical schedule changes A strong team player who communicates well with others Willing to learn healthcare cleaning and infection prevention & OSHA standards Comfortable working around patients, healthcare professionals, and the sights and sounds of a surgical environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Previous healthcare, environmental services, housekeeping, hospitality, laundry, or surgical facility experience is helpful, but not required Ability to follow written cleaning, infection prevention, and safety procedures Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive movement Must meet applicable health, background & employment requirements Why This Role Matters In surgery, the little things aren't really little. Hours:

9:00-5:00pm You keep the environment ready so our clinical team can keep its focus where it belongs: on the patient.

Pay:

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
