Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surgical cases with attention to sterile field setup and instrument management Accurately check and assemble supplies and equipment for operative procedures Support surgeons and surgical teams by passing instruments, supplies, and medications Perform technical tasks, including instrument and sponge counts with the RN to ensure patient safety Maintain a tidy and aseptic environment throughout surgical procedures Assist with patient transport, housekeeping duties, and clerical support as needed Uphold hospital safety standards and vaccination requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's/technical degree preferred Previous scrub technician or operating room experience highly valued Surgery Technician certification preferred CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification a plus
