Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a dynamic Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, instrumentation, and operating room practices. This role supports a variety of surgical specialties, including vascular, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, robotics, bariatrics, endoscopy, and thoracic procedures. AL01 Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by organizing and maintaining surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to aseptic protocols. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and providing appropriate surgical equipment and supplies. Maintain sterile fields and follow infection prevention and control procedures throughout surgical procedures. Perform instrument processing, sterilization, disinfection, and appropriate care of surgical equipment. Handle and label surgical specimens according to established procedures. Follow Universal Protocol and participate in surgical time-out procedures. Operate and maintain various surgical equipment and instrumentation. Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including vascular, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, robotics, bariatrics, endoscopy, and thoracic surgery. Follow isolation, PPE, sharps, radiation, and laser safety protocols as applicable. Provide appropriate care for scopes and fiber-optic equipment. Support safe and efficient operating room workflow while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA or
NCCT BLS
certification Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance. Experience with surgical instrumentation, equipment, sterilization, and disinfection processes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment.
